To achieve your goals, you’ll need to change. Stop complaining about your current situation and decide to take action.
Ignore your current limitations by believing in yourself. Stop being so stubborn and be willing to learn. Eschew your pride, there is no room for it here.
Learn the right knowledge, pay the price, hire the right person, learn the “how”, get a mentor, and follow their advice. Most importantly: drop your ego.
There are no shortcuts. Don’t blame your clients and don’t blame your staff. Do the opposite, invest in them, and educate them.
Don’t judge, seek the data & facts. When we don’t understand the data and facts, then it’s easy for us to make decisions that will not help in our goals. We should always be seeking more information before jumping to conclusions.
Entrepreneur, author, and motivational speaker Jim Rohn once said, “Don’t wish it was easier wish you were better. Don’t wish for fewer problems wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom”.
Knowing how to do the right thing at the right time is critical. When we make mistakes, we learn from them and become more successful. The most successful people in the world didn’t get to where they were by luck or accident.
Take a moment to think about what you have achieved so far in your life and career, then ask yourself whether it was a result of luck, was it a sheer chance, or did you work hard for it? It might help if you continually remind yourself that there is no such thing as luck or chance events, only predictable outcomes based on prior behaviors.
