The Assistant Client Manager’s main role is to service the C & D class clients.
It’s not an exact science because what they actually do depends on a lot of things including their own experience level and what experience level their staff below them are at.
Mainly, they take care of the communication with C&D clients but they also do some accounting work as well because they are not experienced enough to be completely non-grinding.
Our Assistant Client Managers are at 75% productivity whilst the Senior Client Managers are at 50% to 60%.
The SCM does no grinding work except for reviewing and checking work.
The ACM should have a lower level/cost accountant/junior helping him/her with the lower level/cost grinding tasks (80%) whilst they finish off the last 20% and or handle the harder tasks themselves with the help of the Senior Production Manager.
